Providing Relief to Christchurch, New Zealand

David L. Meyer – CEO Hand of Hope

On Tuesday February 22, a 6.3 earthquake struck Christchurch, New Zealand. Hand of Hope is working with two organizations in the area, Parachute and Life Church in Auckland, New Zealand to provide relief to those in areas impacted by the earthquake.

Assistance is being provided with hospital visits, temporary living arrangements and relief shelters for the thousands who are moving to Auckland because they’ve been displaced by the damage caused by the earthquake. Bottled water is also being provided as 80% of Christchurch is without suitable drinking water.

Many thanks to our partners and friends for your generous contributions to Hand of Hope, because of you we are able to directly help those in need affected by the earthquake.

Hand of Hope is the missions arm of Joyce Meyer Ministries. Our goal is simply to help as many hurting people as we possibly can, to alleviate human suffering and to help Christians grow in their faith.
