Medical Missions Update: Returning to Cambodia

Dr. Steve Lovell – Medical Missions Volunteer

While at the Hand of Hope Health Center in Pursat, Cambodia as part of the medical missions outreach this week, a beautiful twelve year old Cambodian girl came in for treatment. She came in for an embarrassing growth that was coming out of her nose. She constantly walked around tilting her head downward so people would not notice it as much.

We were able to perform a minor surgical procedure and remove the growth from her right nostril. Before the little girl left she was holding her head up high and smiling for all of us to see. She turned out to be very pleased with her new look. Without the Hand of Hope medical/dental team the care that is given to people like this beautiful girl would not be possible. Thank you Lord for allowing me to be a part of your helping Hand of Hope.

Hand of Hope is the missions arm of Joyce Meyer Ministries. Our goal is simply to help as many hurting people as we possibly can, to alleviate human suffering and to help Christians grow in their faith.
