Visiting Australian Prisoners

Outside the gates of Alice Springs Main Prison with a vehicle packed full of prisoner gift bags.

We recently distributed hygiene gift bags in the prisons of the Northern Territory, Australia. This completes the third state in Australia and contacts are being made with the remaining four states for future outreaches. In all we were able to visit six prisons in Darwin and Alice Springs distributing over 1,300 gift bags to inmates. I preached to and prayed with the inmates and we had nine confirmed salvation's and immeasurable success.

It was a fantastic outreach, bringing hope to the hopeless, a light to the dark, and establishing relationships. One of the Chaplains told us “I have never seen or experienced cooperation from officers like we had that day. The material was very relevant and there have been some very positive comments from some of the guys.” Another Chaplain wrote to tell us “many of the men and women have asked me to say THANK YOU from them. They really appreciated the gift and they spoke to me the last couple of days so thank you for the time.” I give praise to God, for the opportunity to be able to be involved in such a fantastic work and look forward to the next adventure to reclaim lives!
