Hand of Hope, in conjunction with Christian Association for Albanian Prisoners, accomplished something that has never been done before within the Albanian prison system. We traveled to all 20 prisons in Albania and handed out 5,000 hygiene gift bags to inmates. Each bag had a copy of one of Joyce’s books in Albanian. We have reached across ethnic and religious lines to touch the hearts of inmates that have been forgotten by their families and left to the correctional institutions to care for them. Most of these inmates are left without any support because their families are not financially able to help them due to their own level of poverty. The gifts bags have shown the prisoners that people do care for them and there is hope.
Thanks to the team from Christian Association for Albanian Prisoners for all their help; they worked tirelessly and did a fantastic job. Joyce Meyer Ministries truly cares for those who are hurting and without hope.
