Today was an incredible day. Over a year ago my wife Shelly and I made our first visit to the Lake Eyasi area of Tanzania, in Eastern Africa where the Datooga people live. After that initial visit, Joyce Meyer Ministries/Hand of Hope committed to a large undertaking. We committed to fund a primary school and drill 5 wells in the region. These well pumps are solar powered with large tanks. This village has never had education, and a 2+ hours journey each way for dirty disease-filled water was common. So today we dedicated the above projects all in the name of Jesus.
Hand of Hope is the missions arm of Joyce Meyer Ministries. Our goal is simply to help as many hurting people as we possibly can, to alleviate human suffering and to help Christians grow in their faith.
