Restoring Hope in Lebanon

Wade Hosseini - Hand of Hope Medical Missions Coordinator

I recently returned from Beirut Lebanon where Hand of Hope conducted a medical and dental outreach. Our team of 11 volunteers came from 3 different nations and partnered with the volunteer staff from Hand of Hope’s long term partner Heart for Lebanon. Through this combined effort, we were able to minister to the physical and spiritual needs of over 700 patients.

Our goal in Lebanon was simple: reach the medical needs of the people and let God’s work speak for itself. The hope we were able to spread allowed us to create a opening in the hearts of those who were desperately searching for Him. Over the span of five days we hosted clinics for people to obtain free health and dental care and spiritual healing. During that time nearly 200 Iraqi refugees, 200 prisoners from a Lebanese prison, and over 250 Bedouins and gypsies from 2 different camps attended our clinics and received the care and attention they desperately needed and otherwise would not have received without the loving care that Hand of Hope and it’s volunteers showed.

Hand of Hope is the missions arm of Joyce Meyer Ministries. Our goal is simply to help as many hurting people as we possibly can, to alleviate human suffering and to help Christians grow in their faith.
