David L. Meyer – CEO Hand of Hope
Hand of Hope has partnered with Hillsong Church London on a new project called 'Green Light'. The goal of this project is to provide health and wellbeing support to homeless people in London. The Green Light medical van hit the streets of London in early June and right away began ministering to the homeless by offering them much needed medical assistance.
The medical van currently goes out on Thursday nights, but will soon increase to making visits at least twice a week. Thus far, the program has been very successful, but it will take a little time to build relationships with the homeless before they will trust medical assistance being offered. As always, the main focus is to share the Gospel, to reach the lost and to introduce them to the real Healer.
Hand of Hope is the missions arm of Joyce Meyer Ministries. Our goal is simply to help as many hurting people as we possibly can, to alleviate human suffering and to help Christians grow in their faith.
