The Needs Are Still Great in Haiti
Sherry Burnette, Love A Child Co-Founder
It was just about four weeks ago that the 7.0 earthquake crushed the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere...Haiti. Leaving buildings collapsed and homes destroyed, it has been agonizing every day to look into the faces of these people who had next to nothing to begin with and then lost what little they had. They are clinging to hope from day to day.
We are still feeding them every day, praying for them, encouraging them, and hugging them. We are praying that God will give us a plan to help them put their lives back together. All these wounded people need a home and job. This will take a miracle. They need homes and job training. They need the tools in their hands to start a new life. This must happen for them soon. Rainy season will be coming, and if we don't get major help, many more will die. Thank you for continuing to stand in the trenches with us. Please consider helping the Haitian people with a gift today. Your donation, large or small, will be a blessing.
