Ashley Wilkins
JMM Medical Outreach Coordinator
The last day of clinic was great! We had the largest crowd yet and saw 720 patients today. We also had twenty people give their hearts to the Lord.
A woman with an old broken pair of crutches was given a brand new pair today and she was beside herself with joy when I handed her the new pair!
We have been giving out to patients eyeglasses that were donated from the Hand of Hope's eyeglass campaign. It was really cool to see firsthand the difference they are making around the world. To give someone back their vision is a true gift!
The worst part of my job is at the end of the day when I have to close the doors to the clinic and leave hundreds of people standing outside. But today that was not so difficult because I was able to tell them that they could come back to the Jesus Healing Center and receive good health care after we have gone. The people left happy knowing that quality health care is now available to them.
This has been a great outreach! To God be the glory!
